Soliciting your input. Thanks in advance.
We have a device (ultrasound) being used in both classroom and clinical settings. Sometimes medical students and residents will use the device on them to practice usage, but then a condition is discovered. Is this considered educational or diagnostic? Can the "practice patient" schedule a specialist using the practice images? Do you bill the "service"? How is it handled in your facility?
