Good Morning,I work for a state public health agency in the state-wide immunization program supporting the state's Immunization Information System (IIS). I process the majority of the ROI requests for the program. We do not currently have any tracking procedures on how many ROI requests we are handling, what information we are releasing, or the individuals/organizations/entities we are releasing information to. Our IIS system does not have the ROI tracking capability. It's my understanding we do not have to have an accounting of procedures log for TPO and compliant authorization forms. For anyone who works for a public health agency have you found having a simple accounting of procedures log / ROI tracking spreadsheet helpful? I don't want to create unnecessary extra steps in the ROI process for myself and my backups. I would appreciate advice and insight from anyone who manages a public health information system. Thank you in advance for any responses.
Also, I am looking to make professional connections with other HIM professionals who work in public health, especially those who manage public health information systems. If you work in public health and would be interested in connecting send me a connection request or a private message.Regards,
