Hi, this is no law that I am aware of but more of an internal policy or procedure.
There is no State law as previously mentioned, however there are best practices and communication.
· We provide all records available at the time of processing, including unsigned notes.
· If our ROI processing team knows that a particular note is not available because it has not been documented, then they contact the requestor and let them know.
o The requestor is advised that we're facilitating completion of the documentation (HIMS contacts the provider, etc.), and then the Team releases the records once the documentation is complete.
