    November Hack Topic: Legal Issues 101
    This is a 2-part webinar series in the month of November.

    Session 1: Licensure and Patient-Provider Relationships 

    Description:

    In this webinar, the presenters will provide a foundation for understanding state licensure requirements and establishing a bona fide patient-provider relationship. An overview of the general state of teleheath licensure and the state licensure waivers as a result of COVID-19 will be provided. Additionally, the legal aspects of the provider-patient relationship will be examined.

    Session 2: Privacy and Liability 

    Description:

    This second webinar will address privacy and liability issues related to delivering healthcare through telehealth modalities. Presenters will explore HIPPA regulations as it relates to telehealth during the COVID-19 pandemic and will discuss provider best practices to safeguard patient privacy. Liability topics to be discussed include malpractice, informed consent, and risk management.
