    I am new to this group.  My organization penalizes employees for breaches, even when non reportable.  One recent case involved sharp disciplinary action in the case of a non-reportable that took 5 instead of the required 2 days to file.  Can anyone share their organization's approach?

    Welcome to this group.  As a prior Privacy Coordinator, I've experienced different methods of disciplinary actions.  It all depends on how your Human Resources decides the disciplinary action.  I've participated in situations where they are one and done dismissal disciplinary.  As well as progressive disciplinary actions.  It all depends on the situation but most importantly how your organization wants to proceed with the corrective action.
