    Hi All,
    What career opportunities are out there, not healthcare, where I can use my coding/auditing skills?
    I have been working in a healthcare setting (hospitals, physician practices) for the past 20 years; and lately begun questioning continue working in this setting.
    I have these credentials - RHIT, CCS, CCS-P.
    What career opportunities are out there, not healthcare, where I can use my coding/auditing skills?

    Hi Lisa,
    There are opportunities in contracting, consulting, and insurance companies. If you go onto LinkedIn or any other employer search engine and type in your credentials in the search tool, you will see many different areas that you can branch into. You can also look into the education aspect of our field. The sky is the limit.
