I'm looking to find out what other are doing when it comes to measuring CMI and revenue with regards to overall facility revenue. We are a small, rural acute care facility and we currently measure our CMI shift based on gross revenue, but we are wondering if that is truly the most accurate method. I'm hoping to find out what other are doing with tracking and reporting their CMI and CDI impact on such. If anyone can share their methodology and process I would greatly appreciate it. We have used the same methodology for many, many years and we are wondering if a shift in our methodology is in order with more Medicare Advantage plans entering our market and shifting reimbursement. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or sharing of how you do things.
