I just reviewed the thread for Kennedy Ulcer Coding. Can anyone add to the Thread and let me know how you are coding this in your Facility. I work in an Acute Care Hospital  and after researching today I still do not have a consistent answer. Are most facilities creating your own Coding Policy on how to code a Kennedy Ulcer? I see that some Facilities are coding it to a Pressure Ulcer and other Facilities are coding it to just a Skin Ulcer. I appreciate any advice...Thank you in advance

    Hello,

This is addressed in the 2Q 2018 Coding Clinics that just came out that you may not have access to yet. Coding Clinic advice states to code

from category L89, Pressure ulcer, for a Kennedy ulcer.

    I hope that helps.

    Thanks,
